In the original Reiki tradition, the process of becoming a Reiki Master would be a lifelong journey of healing, spiritual expansion, and energetic ascension. While the "mechanics" of Reiki can be learned rather quickly, the depth of understanding and experiencing the full capacity of Reiki simply takes time and immersion. Reiki is an energy with consciousness, meaning it has awareness and intelligence to it. As a 7th dimensional energy, it actually has a higher dimension of consciousness than we do as humans. In a nutshell, this means it is smarter and wiser than us 🤪 Connecting with this energy is very much like a relationship; we need to learn how to open ourselves up to it, communicate with it, be guided by it, and learn from it.
